NEW LAYOUT HAS ARRIVED

HELLO! Well, as you can see the new layout is up. I still have some tweaks to perform, but it is now usable. I have also added a new photo album or what I like to call my Scrapbook. I will be adding photos to it often, so be sure to check it out. I have had a very productive weekend, Monday and Tuesday creating, cleaning and re-organizing my website and it feels grrrreeeaat! (yes, I know I’m a dork.) It’s back to the daily grind tomorrow, but I need the money, so I won’t complain. God has blessed me with a steady job in which I work with decent people and get to help my beloved animals.

Speaking of money, my cell phone bill came the other day. As you may recall from a recent post, I upgraded my phone to a Samsung Ace. At that time, I also upgraded my mother and I’s plan. (mom and I share a plan) Well, this plan includes triple the minutes we had, unlimited texts and internet all for about the same price we have been paying for the last five years. Back to the bill : You can imagine my shock at opening it and discovering that it was SIX TIMES what it usually is. YES, folks my cell phone bill was $730.00. I can’t say for certain, but I almost had heart failure. Well, after I regained relative composure, I logged on to my account and dialed customer service as quickly as my shaking little fingers would dial. For some reason a saying was going through my head as I listened to one of those annoying automated answering services, “you get more with sugar than with vinegar”. Basically, after about 30 minutes of being on the phone with count ‘em, THREE customer service reps, I got my bill reduced dramatically. Apparently, myself and the cell phone company sales lady and I had a communication error. I distinctly remember her telling me that my unlimited texts, internet and triple minutes started immediately. Not so much. Anyway, the moral of the story is: be nice when you feel like telling some one off.

Oooooh! Does anyone watch Heroes? I am beyond excited about this season, although it has been very confusing and out of left field. It keeps all of us addicts guessing, though. haha. For the fans: How did you like that semi-normal Sylar last night? Blew my socks off, that’s for sure.

Today was a great day, but it has to come to an end. I am off to try and get some sleep, so I can be my best tomorrow. Take care all.
